Specifications: 792 sq. ft. interior, 3 bedroom, 1 bath, Footprint: 25′ x 39′
Description: Sweet Spot is an attractive and very efficient three bedroom home. Two roof options are available: 1. clerestory roof (shown); 2. gable roof with optional porch roof.

I find the sweet spot house interesting. I see there are two types of roof options. I like the porch roof option in that if the porch is built on the roof like a greenhouse with a south facing front yard, I can see this as a good place to grow food indoors with a view of the streets below in an urban setting. What do you think?
There are countless options like this that could be used to improve the design for a specific locale. It’s easy to change the roof drawing so you’ll have a better home. Email me when you’re ready to buy a plan and I’ll quote you a fixed price for the changes you request.
I love this and it would be awesome for first phase of building, the only thing is there is no laundry. We will be a family of 6 and we will need laundry! Any ideas?
Most of my plans are designed as simple as possible to keep costs low. You can always add on if you want. In this case you could add a laundry/mud room on the west side.
Thank you so much for the reply and for bringing these designs to families! We are gonna modify a bit and make it work for us! Thanks again!
This Sweet Spot is very similiar to your Craftsman Plan (listed on one of your other websites) and we love both. We were wondering if it is possible to change the roofing to an adobe style (made of wood and stucco not straw)with a wrap around porch to protect the straw walls. We love the ideas of strawbale and adobe, but are struggling to find a design that marries these two green ideas. Which begs the question, in your extensive experience, is this even possible???
Almost anything is possible. Most people modify the plans to fit their needs. Email at naturalhousesAT gmail dotcom
